When I went to Shish Mahal I fell in love! The food was delicious and the people who took my order were the best. I think if your looking to eat something after a long day you should definitely try Shish Mahal!!
Best little Indian buffet, wonderful and warm staff. Been coming here for 20 years. The food is fresh and delicious. Their butter chicken is amazing, clean, fresh and cool salad bar, when you walk in, you are are treated like family, the staff behind the counter are always smiling and making sure the trays are topped up. I like all the dishes, here less is more and they have all the classics. Nice place to relax, Buffets are on Friday and Saturday, check them out, a family favourite!!! Always a pleasure!
Amazing food, Amazing staff. All you can eat had all the essentials. Fresh naan made to order, everything was delicious and the owner was very friendly and passionate about his food. 10/10 would come back and bring a friend! This place is a hidden gem!
Ordered some take out on Sunday evening around 6pm. Got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and palak paneer. The dishes were amazing. The gentleman who served me was kind and had a great personality. I'm looking forward to going back and dining in. The portion was large that fed myself and another person. We have leftovers which is great!
I have been eating here consistently for nearly three years and I've tried many Indian restaurants in the GTA. I can confidently say The Shish Mahal is my all time favourite Indian restaurant. From the quality service to the pleasant experience with the owner and chef, this place is everything I like in a small local restaurant. The butter chicken and naan are my personal favourites. Garlic naan is also great. I eat the chicken and fish tikka weekly. The pakora and samosas are great starters. Love to end my meal with their gulab jaman for dessert. The reason I always find myself coming back is I don't find their dishes to be oily and they use quality meat. Happy to recommend this place to all friends and family. The restaurant have also brought back their dinner buffet for Friday and Saturday evenings which has vegetarian and non-vegetarian options along with a salad bar and dessert. You can't go wrong for 21 and it's served with fresh naan to the table. Highly recommend.

Lovely Indian Food Experiance We were recommended to visit Shish Mahal to try it as we were planning on catering for a function we hosted. The waiter was very helpful and accommodating, offered us a lot of options and advises etc. We loved the Butter Chicken and the Kebab, they have a license so liquors can be purchased. We enjoyed our food so much that we gladly ordered for the catering for our function.
